Physology is a chronic pain clinic based in Bath. This page explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It covers the website only. Information you give us during clinical care is covered by our clinical records policy, which we will go through with you at your first consultation.
Physology, WellBath Yoga and Wellbeing Centre, Woolley Lane, Bath, BA1 8BA. Registered company number 08192931. Telephone 01225 234954. We are the data controller for the information described on this page.
If you contact us on WhatsApp, by phone, or by email, we receive whatever you choose to send us. That usually includes your name, your contact details, and a description of your symptoms and history. We keep it so we can respond to you and, if you go on to book, so we have context before your first session.
We collect your email address, and your name if you give it. This is stored in Brevo, our email provider, so we can send you the material you asked for and occasional related emails. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link and you can use it at any time.
Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never reach us or this website. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, along with your email address and the item purchased.
The online book uses Supabase to manage accounts and track which chapters you have read. That stores your email address, an encrypted password, and your reading progress.
This website does not run analytics or advertising tracking. We do not use Google Analytics and we do not currently run an advertising pixel.
Some pages embed videos from YouTube. When one of those pages loads, YouTube may set its own cookies and receive your IP address. That is Google's processing rather than ours, and it is governed by Google's own privacy policy.
The site is hosted on Netlify, which keeps standard server logs including IP addresses for security and operational purposes.
We do not sell your information and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. The only third parties involved are the services we use to run the business: Netlify for hosting, Brevo for email, Stripe for payments, Supabase for reading accounts, and Google for embedded video. Each processes data under its own terms and we have chosen them on that basis.
We may disclose information where the law requires it, or where there is a serious risk to someone's safety.
Enquiries that do not become bookings are kept for two years. Email subscribers are kept until they unsubscribe. Purchase records are kept for six years, which is what UK tax law requires. Clinical records are held separately under professional retention rules and we will explain those to you directly.
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to show you what we hold, correct anything wrong, delete it, restrict what we do with it, or send it to you in a portable format. You can also object to us using it and withdraw consent at any time.
To do any of that, message us on WhatsApp or call 01225 234954. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page.
Send a message and we will answer it directly.
