I want to tell you something about this moment.
Right now, you are at the end of a book. That is a small thing on the surface. But I have watched what happens to people at exactly this point, and I know it is not a small thing at all.
Something has already shifted. The way you understand your own body is already different from when you opened the first page. The pain is the same. The tissue is the same. But the meaning of it has changed completely. And in my experience, that is the beginning of everything.
I have been in this work for over twenty years. I have sat across from people at every stage of this journey. I have seen the moment the framework clicks. And I have seen, over and over, what that moment produces.
People who understand what is actually happening in their body move through the process differently. They walk into their first session with a kind of clarity that changes how the work lands. They notice changes in their tissue that they now have language for. They understand their own recovery arc in a way that keeps them moving forward consistently.
They recover faster. And they stay recovered. Every time.
When I say I believe in you, I mean it in the most clinical sense possible. Two decades of practice, thousands of patients, and a consistency of result that makes the outcome, when this framework is applied properly, about as close to certain as anything I have seen in medicine.
You understand it properly. You have just spent this entire book making sure of that.
So here is what I want you to carry with you as you close this.
A few weeks from now you are going to be in a session and you will feel something release that has been held tight for a long time.
In the hours after, you will realise the pain is quieter.
And then you will realise it has been quieter for a while. And you had not noticed. Because your attention had moved on to something else. The kids, your partner, making plans, being absorbed in life again.
When pain steps out of the way, life can step back in.
That is the moment I am talking about. That is what is waiting on the other side of the next seven days.
The practitioners are out there. The process is clear. The only thing left is to begin.
I look forward to hearing how it goes.
Chronic pain ages you in ways that do not show on the outside. The tiredness behind your eyes, the calculations you run before every plan, the version of yourself you keep hidden from the people who love you. You are carrying more than anyone around you realises.
One day someone will ask you how you are and you will say good, and for the first time in years you will mean it. Hold on for that day.
